The Experience of British Parliamentarism and its Innovation in the State-building Process of Ukrainian History

Abstract

The process of forming and development of British parliamentarism is depicted in the given article. Besides, the main peculiarities and traditional factors of using its experience in the state-building process and practices of Ukrainian reality are shown. It was established in the context of made research that British parliament is an ideal object for investigating, because, firstly, it is the motherland of parliamentarism, being known of its conservatism, experience and power of traditions; secondly, the process of transformation of the political life happens very active and fast exactly in this country. The main expressions which trace the evolution of British parliamentarism are also viewed in the article. It is proved that British parliamentarism is the efficient historical basis of the political, social, economical and cultural development of the country. It is described not only the phenomenon of British parliamentarism but also its role for the past and nowadays is determined in the article. It is shown that the problem of the development of parliamentarism is one of the most actual in the modern historical and political science. It is connected with the fact that the presence of representative democracy of the modern world in the conditions of globalization institute of parliamentarism. Besides, it is proved that the parliament occupies the central part in the system of the state power of Great Britain during the centuries and has the essential influence on the political climate and development of new consolidating ideas in the British society. The attempts to build the models of parliamentarism in the country, where the main instrument is parliamentary sovereignty reflect the importance of the political process of modernization on the management mechanism in the modern society on the way of forming of the state-building idea. Based on the foregoing, it is considered essential to investigate the specifics on the development of the institute of parliamentarism in Great Britain and to define its innovation concerning the improvement of the state-building process in Ukraine.
