The publishing platform on which the journal is displayed (The Universal Publishing Platform of Journals) guarantees the long-term storage of scientific materials through backup copying and the use of international archiving systems (LOCKSS, PKP PN, CLOCKSS).

In case of discontinuation of the journal, its materials posted on the Publishing Platform remain accessible to the scientific community through the Platform or other related repositories.

 

Open Access Policy

The Editorial Board of the scientific journal “Problems of World History” supports the Budapest Open Access Initiative aimed at cost-free dissemination of scientific knowledge, to encourage the accelerated development of science. It acknowledges the priority of the principles of free dissemination of scientific information and knowledge exchange for the benefit of social progress.

The whole content of the journal is accessible on its official website (“diamond” access). All the full-text materials are displayed on the journal’s website in the “Archive” section for an unlimited period; access to them is provided without registration on the website, cost-free and immediately after publishing the journal’s issue.

Online full-text versions of the articles in PDF format can be read, downloaded, copied, disseminated (by way not violating the copyright), printed, sought or referred to in the journal, or used for a variety of other legal purposes without addressing the author or the publisher for a permission.

Since 2016, online versions of the journal have been displayed in open access on the website of the repository of the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine (“Scientific periodicals of Ukraine”)

Since 2020, the journal has been publishing the whole content on the open access terms, license Creative Commons Attribution License International CC-BY-NC-ND.
