УКРАЇНСЬКО-АМЕРИКАНСЬКІ ВІДНОСИНИ В КОНТЕКСТІ ЗОВНІШНЬОПОЛІТИЧНИХ ПРІОРИТЕТІВ США

Анотація
Після обрання Д. Трампа президентом США в українсько-американських відносинах спостерігалися суттєві зміни, зокрема скасування ембарго на поставки летальних озброєнь і відновлення засідань Комісії стратегічного партнерства Україна-США. Всупереч
висловлюваній Д. Трампом готовності до укладення «Великої угоди» між Росією і США, республіканці і демократи в Конгресі дотримувалися двопартійної позиції по Україні, підтримуючи розширення санкцій з різних приводів – від триваючого конфлікту в Донбасі і спроб російського втручання у виборчу кампанію 2016 року до створення перешкод для поставок російських озброєнь у треті країни.
Утім, аналіз оцінок у дослідженнях американських академічних фахівців і коментарях політичних експертів не дає підстав вважати, що політичні кола США готові перейти від дистанційної підтримки України в дусі довгострокової доктрини стримування до більш інтенсивних форм військової та військово-політичної участі. Констатуючи неприйняття російським керівництвом євроатлантичної системи безпеки, що склалася після закінчення холодної війни, американські дослідники висловлюють сумніви в можливості остаточного
врегулювання конфлікту в Донбасі. В разі його заморожування, ситуація в Донбасі становитиме потенційну та реальну загрозу для економіки і безпеки України. За такого перебігу подій Україна відіграватиме роль одного з важливих джерел напруженості і розбіжностей в економічних і військових відносинах між Росією і Заходом.
